December 09 -  Tower Dog Training Club

Dora came 5th in the pre-beginners class

November 05 -  KC Special Prebeginners Obedience Stakes

Dora competed in the semi-finals for this event up in Scotland and came third overall out of 21 contestants losing just 2 1/2 points. this means she has qualified for the final at Crufts 2007

October 01- Newton Heath DTC Obedience Show

Dora (Dancing Dora) entered only her second obedience show and won the KC Good Citizen Special Pre-Beginner Stakes. She now goes through to the Semi Finals at Working and Pastoral breeds of Scotland Championship show.

September 16 - Ruby passes Bronze Good Citizen Award

August 19 - Welsh Kennel Club

Flynn (Foxbriar Fantastique for Merrywood) 1st puppy dog.

Ruby (Foxbriar Joie de Vivre) second in puppy bitch. The judge was Terry Thorn

August 14 - Bournemouth Championship Show

Flynn ( Foxbriar Fantastique for Merrywood) was awarded reserve best dog. The judge was Mrs Terri burke

August 05 - Northern Belgian Shepherd Dog Club

Ruby graded Excellent. Here is what the judge said about her.

10 month old female with excellent expression. Long head, parallell.Well defined mask. Beautiful eyes. Teeth and bite OK. Slightly long wide set ears. Excellent neck. Good back. Very good bones and feet. A bit weak in pastern. Excellent chest for age. Well angulated. Slightly sloping croup.

Moves close in front and behind. great balance and stride. Excellent coat and colour. Friendly ansd easy to handle. Well presented.

July 15 - National Working and Pastoral Breeds Championship Show

CCs were on offer at this show. Another excellent day for  Flynn (Foxbriar Fantastique For Merrywood)as he was awarded first in Puppy dog and Best Puppy dog. Ruby was 3rd in Puppy Bitch and Casey was 3rd in the very strong Limit Class. Marion McIlherne was Judging.

July 12 - Paignton Championship Show

Again there were no CCs here either but Flynn (Foxbriar Fantastique For Merrywood)was once again awarded Best Dog and Reserve Best of breed. The Judge was Mr J Carter A very good result for Foxbriar

July 09 - South Wales Championship Show

There were no CCs at this show but Flynn (Foxbriar Fantastique For Merrywood)was awarded Best Dog and Reserve Best of breed.  the Judge was Cath Bond

June 20 - Cheshire show

there was a  Malinois class at this show for the first time this year. There was only an Open class and Flynn (Foxbriar Fantastique for Merrywood) was awarded best of breed and best puppy and was shortlisted for the pastoral group,

Ruby (Foxbriar Joie de Vivre) came second to her brother once again and was awarded reserve BOB. the judge was mr Tom Johnstone.

June 15 - Three Counties Championship Show

Ruby came first in puppy bitch but was beaten for best puppy by Flynn who was best dog puppy. The judge was Mrs J Gunn.

June 04 - Crewe and District Canine Association 

Another good day for Foxbriar as Ruby came 1st in the AVNSC puppy class under judge Mr T. Williams, and Reserve Best Puppy in the Pastoral group

June 01 - Staffordshire Agricultural society dog show

Ruby was second inthe AVPastoral Puppy Class and Flynn came 2nd in the AVNSC Junior Class

May 28 - Woodford Companion Dog Show

A bit of light relief this weekend with a trip to Woodford Companion Show. Ruby came second in the all breeds  puppy class.

Dora  Came along too and came 3rd in the very large Starters obedience Class and was running fourth in the next class for quite some time. A very good day was had by all

May 21 - Scottish Kennel Club Champoinship Show

CCs were on offer for Malinois for the first time at this show and there was a good entry of 22 dogs.

Ruby (Foxbriar Joie De Vivre) was awarded best puppy Bitch, Best minor Puppy  and first in junior bitch. Flynn (Foxbriar Fantastique For Merrywood came a creditable 3rd in the junior dog class.

Casey Gwashleas Rob Roy at Foxbriar was 4th in the open dog class.

The Judge for the day was Paul Lawless and this is what he had to say about Ruby: Seven months, feminie bitch, Attractive head, correct bite, nice dark eye, a little round. Ears used well, a little wide at base. Good angulation,a  little long in back. Moved well

 

May 20 - Northern Belgian Shepherd Dog Club Open Show

Ruby  was awarded 2nd in Junior Dog or Bitch and also best  Puppy  Bitch under judge Irene Green

May 14 - Birmingham National Champoinship Dog show

The first show since Crufts with CCs on offer and an excellent entry of 34 dogs.

An excellent day  for Foxbriar. Ruby (Foxbriar Joie De Vivre) was awarded Best puppy bitch and Best minor puppy under judge  Vic Salt

Vic Said "nice type bitch,sound temperament. Good wedge shaped head,nice dark eye. Ears Well used. good Mask. in good coat and condition. moved well

Flynn (Foxbriar Fantastique for Merrywood) came third in a large puppy dog class,

Casey (Gwashleas Rob Roy at Foxbriar) came third in a very strong open class.

All three have now qualified for Crufts next year

May 04 - Pictures of Foxbriar Raison D'Etre 

Doyle, now called Mally has settled into his new home and is turning into a very handsome dog.

April  29 - Show Results - WELKS

The first show for Flynn and Ruby. The judge was Debbie Stansbury.There was no puppy class so Flynn and Ruby had to go in the junior class. Flynn (Foxbriar Fantastique for Merrywood) came 2nd just ahead of Ruby (Foxbriar Joie De Vivre) who came third. She was also best puppy bitch.

Casey (Gwashleas Rob Roy at Foxbriar) was also at the show and came second in the open class

We entered the match night at our local ringcraft club. Ruby came second in the puppy class.

 

April 02 - Casey

BSDA of GB open Show. Casey came 3rd in his obedience class and 4th in his breed class. Ruby went along  for the day but was just a little too young to enter any classes.

 

Mar 09 - Casey

The first day of Crufts 2006 and the first show where Challenge Certificates were on offer for Malinois. Casey was entered in the open class where he came up against the Best of Breed Malinois from  last years Westminster dog show  among others. Casey came a very creditable fourth

Feb 02 - Minnie

A very sad day at Foxbriar as Minnie finally gave up the fight and left us for good. Thanks for all the happiness she gave me over the years.
